INTELLIGENT Contributes to BRIDGE GA 2026

The BRIDGE initiative General Assembly 2026 took place on 23–24 March in Brussels and online. The event gathered representatives from EU institutions, the European Commission, and a broad range of energy stakeholders to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaboration. Discussions focused on advancing a secure, sustainable, and sovereign European energy system. Through high-level panels and project showcases, participants explored how EU-funded projects can better contribute to policy and market developments.

The INTELLIGENT project actively contributed to several Working Group sessions, engaging in key discussions across different thematic areas. InoSens participated in the Business Models Working Group, contributing to exchanges on innovative approaches for market uptake. R2M Solution Spain contributed to the Consumers and Citizen Engagement Working Group, focusing on the role of end-users in the energy transition. Grid Singularity participated in the Data Management Working Group, addressing interoperability and data-driven solutions. smartEn attended the event onsite and contributed to the Regulation Working Group discussions. These contributions enabled the project to engage with ongoing developments in regulation, digitalisation, and consumer-centric energy systems.

Participation in the General Assembly provided valuable opportunities for networking and knowledge exchange with projects and stakeholders across Europe. By contributing to the BRIDGE community, the project helps ensure that its solutions remain relevant, scalable, and aligned with European priorities. The insights gained will further support the development of advanced tools for decentralised and flexible energy markets.
