On 29 April 2026, the INTELLIGENT project was showcased at the General Assembly meeting of its sister project, U2Demo. During this hybrid event, Laura Pérez Caballero, EU Projects Area Manager at R2M Solution Spain and INTELLIGENT Project Coordinator, delivered a 15-minute online presentation. She introduced the project’s vision to representatives from the 18 U2Demo partner organizations.
The presentation highlighted INTELLIGENT’s core objective: to enable grid-aware, secure, and transparent peer-to-peer (P2P) energy and flexibility exchange. This mission is driven by interoperable digital tools specifically designed to support citizens and energy communities.
Attendees were introduced to the diverse INTELLIGENT Consortium as well as the project’s integrated platform architecture, combining data infrastructure, AI-based optimisation, blockchain-based energy trading, and user-oriented interfaces.
To demonstrate real-world application, the presentation also showcased the four pilot sites in Switzerland, Portugal, and Ireland, where the project’s innovative solutions will be validated. The session concluded by laying the groundwork for exciting future synergies and collaboration opportunities between the two sister projects.
