The Institute of Technology for Development – LACTEC is one of Brazil’s leading centres for research, technology and innovation, with a prominent presence in the energy, connectivity, electric mobility and environment sectors. As the leader of R&D&I projects under the research and development programme for the electricity sector regulated by ANEEL, it also has extensive experience in projects for the industry, and has been accredited as an EMBRAPII Unit and as an EMBRAPII Competence Centre.
Role of the Institute in the project: LACTEC is responsible for the development and validation of intelligent hardware for energy data acquisition and processing, integration with interoperable platforms, and support for the integration and validation of project-developed solutions for smart grid applications, including deployment and field validation on Aran Island.
