The IRUSE research group, founded in 2000, leads in energy management, modelling, and retrofits, with over 200 publications. The role of the University in this project includes supporting the data management plan and data collection for the Irish pilot, contributing to KPI definition and data-driven analysis, and assisting in the development of prediction, optimisation, and flexibility estimation modules. The University also facilitates workshops, surveys, and public engagement activities, monitors and evaluates the Irish pilot site, and supports regulatory and policy analysis. Additionally, it contributes to scientific publications, conferences, and the dissemination of project results.
